IceCap VHO Ballasts

The Coolest Lighting Available! The logical solution for reefs and planted tanks requiring high light output. Uses readily available fluorescent lamps, in a wide variety of sizes and colors. Virtually no heat from ballast, greatly reduced heat from lamps. Easily retrofitted into new existing canopies. Provides a minimum of 1 year of usable life to VHO lamps. Alternative for halides and underpowered standard lamps. IceCap was used, for 2 years running, to win the SPS challenge...a contest that measured the growth and coloration of SPS stony corals.

All IceCap Electronic ballasts are UL approved and carry a 3 year warranty. All units include an 6 ft. wiring harness with quick disconnect modular plug and an aluminum heat sink/mounting plate to allow remote mounting. IceCap Ballast supports VHO (1500MA) and Std (425MA) lamps in any combination. Energy efficient (See Right).

IceCap 7-Day Programmable Digital Timer

The IceCap Digital Timer has been designed for use with all IceCap ballasts. 
It can be used with an IceCap standard harness and the timer is designed to 
control one ballast only; it does not independently control individual 
lights.

The IceCap Digital Timer provides the following functions: 
* Program up to 6 settings per day 
* Single or Multi-day time settings 
* Easy to read liquid crystal display 
* Back-up battery to maintain the timer's memory
